The Rossland Arena features one indoor ice surface and a curling rink. The Miner’s Hall was built in 1898 and served as the central organization point for the Miners Union. Today, the building still stands and is used for dances, theatrical productions (Gold Fever Follies), and gatherings. The Rossland Light Opera Players assembled in 1951, and is believed to be the oldest amateur musical theatre group in the Kootenays, presenting a major musical annually.
